Benefits of integrating Amazon
The Amazon integration can save you hours of admin by automatically importing the data about your Amazon sales and associated fees each day into FreeAgent.
Your sales income and Amazon fees will then be automatically explained to the appropriate accounting categories to make the process fully automated and remove the need to manually reconcile the data.
As the integration was built by FreeAgent, you don't need any extra software and there is only one price, regardless of how much data you process.
How Amazon works with FreeAgent
When you connect your Amazon UK Seller Central account to FreeAgent, a dummy Amazon bank account will automatically be created in the Banking area in FreeAgent.
FreeAgent will then start an automatic data sync and import the sales data and associated fees from your last completed settlement report. After the initial sync, FreeAgent will import your sales, refunds, fees and Amazon disbursements on a daily basis.
Each day, an invoice will be automatically created in FreeAgent with the total sales values. If you receive a sales refund, a credit note will be automatically created in FreeAgent with the total refunded sales values. A bill will be automatically created in FreeAgent for the total amount of fees on the day they are charged by Amazon.
Your sales income, Amazon fees and disbursements will then be automatically explained to the appropriate accounting categories.
