FreeAgent and Optionis Group team up to support UK small businesses

• Pioneering software firm and leading professional services provider agree new partnership to help thousands of freelancers, contractors and small business clients manage their finances more effectively

FreeAgent, the innovative cloud software provider, has joined forces with Optionis Group, one of the UK’s leading accounting and professional services companies to help thousands of freelancer, contractor and small business clients stay on top of their business finances. 

The company has partnered with Optionis Group, which provides accountancy and tax services to thousands of small businesses across the UK, in a deal that will see its clients introduced to the award-winning FreeAgent system.

Through the partnership, Optionis Group will offer clients from across its core brands - including SJD Accountancy, Nixon Williams, ClearSky Contractor Accounting and First Freelance - the opportunity to use FreeAgent as their cloud accounting system, providing them with a user-friendly method of managing day-to-day expenses, invoicing and banking. 

By providing clients with access to the full FreeAgent suite, accountants and advisors within the group will also be able to offer wider support to help small businesses comply with new legislation including Making Tax Digital (MTD), and provide deeper, expert insights into their business accounts and tax liabilities.
